Choice of artifact and letter recreation from its typography. In this case, it was chosen the lettering at the main door of Hotel Metrópole in Lisbon.

square, rounded and diagonal forms
For the design of these letters it was important to start with the design of the main letters with straight and round shapes, and then draw the rest derived from them. Some diagonal letters were also drawn.

the process
In the letter design process, the original typography was reproduced and then redrawn and new letters were created with the appropriate proportions.
After the first drawing on graph paper and the necessary corrections, we moved on to create the letters on digital, which were then corrected step by step.
