We were proposed to make 2 different covers for the same book, using different techniques.
1 – Technique of Digital Collage in Photoshop and later final composition with vectorial title.
2 – Vector Drawing Technique in Illustrator.

“Bichos” is a well-known book of tales by the Portuguese author Miguel Torga. Each of the tales develops around a character: a humanized animal or an animalized human being, all in struggle with nature, God or with themselves.
So, for the design of the covers, I chose to transmit this fusion between human beings and animals, where it becomes difficult to distinguish between the traits of each species.

digital illustration
On the cover made with the digital illustration technique, there was no longer a fusion between the animal and the human. One of the protagonist animals in the stories was portrayed on the cover, and on the back cover a man and a woman working in the field.
